研究方向与主要学术成就:

哺乳动物卵子发生机理、体细胞重编程机理、显微操作及动物转基因技术等。首次证明初级、次级卵母细胞纺锤体互换的可行性,获得世界首例初级、次级卵母细胞纺锤体互换哺乳动物;世界首例克隆骡子的创制者;获得世界第二例胚胎克隆猪;成功克隆了牛、绵羊、山羊、猪、兔、小鼠;建立高效转基因克隆奶牛、肉牛、绵羊等技术体系;将克隆牛、羊技术成功实现了产业转化;在大熊猫、藏羚羊、普氏原羚、猪、小鼠等异种克隆机理等方面进行系统性的研究。
